In 2015 , the UN General Assembly got together with world leaders to discuss and establish a framework to use for global sustainability across social, environmental and ethical categories. The 17 goals listed above are the broad scoped categories that the 2030 agenda is working towards. Each of the 17 goals are broken down into a combined 169 targets with between 1-3 indicators each to make the goals measurable and easier to implement.

Whilst there is defiantly a clear responsibility of governments to take the lead in this agenda, the reality is the likely hood of global governments being able to prioritise these goals above power and profit is an outside shot at best. It is our belief that business is the sector who can make the biggest difference in achieving the 232 indicators making up these goals. We are agile, fast moving, can avoid red tape and policy and can create amazing outcomes on the ground both in our local communities and in the world as Global Citizens.
